QHow to enroll courses?
A

Students may use the CUSIS system functions to validate, enroll, drop, swap and update (i.e. make changes to their tutorials) the courses.  Please click here for details.

QHow can I check my enrollment status?
A

You can check your enrollment status on CUSIS in the “Manage Classes > View My Classes” function, where you find the enrolled and waitlisted courses. Please click here for details.

QCan I change my course selection after the course registration period?
A

Yes, students can change their course selection during the add/drop period of the respective term. Please click here for the term’s add/drop period.

QWhat is the minimum course load, maximum course load and year course load?
A

A student shall take at least 9 units and no more than 18 units of courses in any term within the normative study period. A student shall take no more than 6 units of courses in each summer session, and no student shall be allowed to take more than 39 units in an academic year. Only under special circumstances may a student be allowed to take fewer than 9 units or more than 18 units in a term, or more than 39 units in an academic year. This requires recommendation by his/her Major Programme and approval by the Registrar.

QWhere can I check my maximum course load, validation period, actual course selection period and e-add/drop period?

The information is available under CUSIS by navigating: Manage Classes > Enrollment Dates

QWhen is the deadline of the tuition fee payment?
A

The tuition fees are payable by two instalments. The fees should be settled by the end of September and end of January for Term 1 and Term 2 respectively. Students may check payment information under CUSIS. Please click here for payment methods. The Registration and Examinations Section will make relevant announcements in due course.

QWhere to view my Academic Advisement Report?
A

Academic Advisement is a function which enables student to view their academic progress facilitates academic planning. Academic advisement report generated by CUSIS only serves as a general reference of student fulfilment of graduation requirements. There are three types of academic advisement report in CUSIS, which are ‘Advisement Report’, ‘In-progress Report’ and ‘What-if Report’.  Please click here for the report.

QWhat should I do if I need get a transcript/certifying letter/report on curriculum details from the University?

QMy student visa expired. What should I do?
A

QCan I take a Minor? How to declare a Minor?
A

Yes, a student may register via CUSIS for one or more Minor Programmes.  Student shall complete (a) the units of courses as prescribed by the Minor Programme/s; and (b) at least two-thirds of Minor requirements at this University.

Students can submit the application for Minor via CUSIS. The system opens for application from October to May of each year. The Registration and Examinations Section will make relevant announcements in due course.
