Course Description
This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the research process and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle various research projects with confidence. Throughout the course, we will delve into the fundamental aspects of research, giving you a clear sense of how research projects are initiated and conducted. We will explore the different stages of the research process, from formulating research questions to analyzing data and drawing meaningful conclusions.
The aim of this course is to empower students with the essential tools needed to embark on any research project successfully. By the end of this course, students are expected to be well-prepared to navigate the challenges of conducting research and approach future projects. Students are expected to develop a solid foundation in research methodology, data analysis, and effective communication of research findings.

Session 2 – September 13th: From Topics to Questions, From Questions to a Problem

Between September 27th and Oct 11th: work on your bibliographic essay and prepare to give a 7-min presentation on Oct 11th. |
Session 5 – Oct 11th: Presenting Bibliographic Essay
Between Oct 11th and Oct 25th: work on your primary source analysis. You are encouraged to schedule a supervision during these weeks. |
Session 6: Oct 25th: Presenting Primary Source Analysis

Session 7: Nov 8th: Research Proposal
Session 8: Nov 22nd: Writing Up
Session 9: Nov 29th: Presenting the Research Proposal
