QWhat are the entry requirements for postgraduate programmes in CUHK?

QMay I know more about the programme graduation requirements and course details?
A

QWhat is the difference between M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes?
A

M.Phil. programmes will usually last for 2 years while Ph.D. programmes can last for 3 or 4 years. The course requirements of the first two years are similar. When you apply for admission, you need to specify which degree you are interested in.

QDo I need to attend an interview?
A

Interviews are by invitation only and take place on Skype or Zoom. Applicants will be invited to an interview after passing the initial evaluation of application materials. Please be patient: it might take several weeks before you receive an interview invitation.

QIs accommodation provided by the University?

QWhen is the application deadline?
A

The application is open from September to March every year. Please refer to the Graduate School website for the exact date.

QI am from a non-English speaking country. Is there any English proficiency requirement?

QDo you offer part-time study mode for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes?

We do not offer part-time mode for the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes at the moment.
